Growing girl

Tip toes!

Sydney is getting taller all the time and trys to be just like her sis. Playing in the sink is both of their favorite games :)

Dress up day

Ta Da!

Check out my wings!

While I was sorting and folding clothes in the girls room they played dress up! Sam created her cheetah fairy outfit and Sydney found a new dress, what cuties!

Mom should be in some pictures right?

Kid's say the cutest things!

Sam wanted to play checkers with me (Mom), but I told her I needed to start dinner but Dad could play with her. Her reply, "No, I want you to play, Dad can start dinner he's never done it." I laughed sooooo hard, I love the things kids pick up on. Needless to say Greg was not as entertained :)

Movie in the park

For Friday night fun we went to a movie in the park. The park was in the very prosperous city of Birmingham. We drove next to a Maserati, and many other expensive vehicles, you could smell the money$$$. It was a fun night, the girls loved the movie and so did we! Like a dope I forgot my camera, we will visit again and I will snap some photos.

Beautiful in blue!

I am sure you can't see what Sam's favorite color is? The blue brings out the best in her eyes :)

Daddy's Little Girl

The girls were busy playing and Greg glanced over to see what they were up to and this is what he found. Totally unprovoked, Sydney dressed herself up and was playing baseball. Greg was so proud.

What a silly Sydney, we love you :)

Mexico

Here is Greg's work trip to Mexico. What a pampered bum! He flys on the company jet, which as you can see is no comercial flight. He loved being back in Guymas and San Carlos and felt right at home (where he served his mission.) He told a lot of missionary stories and it all had changed so much. Here are the few pics that he snapped while he was gone.

Company jet
Look at those cush seats, nice napping time :)
View from his room in San Carlos. While he ate dinner he watched pelicans and saw dolphins diving. He never wants to fly commercial again, can you blame him?

Playdough Silliness!

Samantha sticks the play dough to her face and legs and has a great time, what a spaz!

Crazy loon!
Gottcha ya!
Sydney joins in the fun too! Love the new teeth showing threw. She has two top teeth now :)

Last ride!

Sam was so in love with the carousel and we had a few more tickets, so we took one last ride before we headed home for Michigan. This time we both got to ride, she was very proud of herself :) We loved Chicago and got to see tons of the city, eat at some great places, and see a lot of interesting people :) The drive home was insanely long and it took us 6 hours with all the traffic! Nuts! We made it however and are once again home and unpacked. Cheers.

FAKERS!

What a bunch of fakers. I am sure you can't tell, with Sam's eyes all squeezed shut. So much fun!

Post Game pics!

It was a gorgeous night.

Here we were bouncing back and forth between taking pictures and being in pictures, what we usually do. Then this nice guy asked me (Steph) if I wanted to be in the picture too. It was great! It was a nice surprise to have someone offer to take it for us, what a nice guy!

Yeah, White Sox!

Baseball Baby!
There was a killer fireworks show afterwards! Sadly Greg's team the A's lost, but the Sox won, yeah!
Chillin' eating popcorn, yumm!

Without further ado, we have arrived at the climax of every trip we take... Baseball! We actually were an hour late to this one, bummer. We were in the nose-bleeds again but nicely placed behind home plate. Great seats. Enjoy!

Bubba Gump Shrimp

Forrest! He was awesome. While Sam napped we sat there and watched peoples reactions as they came and talked to him, it was entertaining. We ate at Bubba Gumps, it was the longest wait we have ever had for food! Good news is that we got Greg's meal free and free dessert. Looking back it was probably not the highlight of the trip, but Forrest is always a laugh :)

Water Taxi

Sunny Chicago
You always know when Greg has the camera, he loves to capture the scenery. It is a good thing he is around :)
This was a fun water taxi, it beat taking the bus. Right after this picture was taken Samantha fell dead asleep and stayed that way for nearly an hour!

Saturday at the Shedd Aquarium

Saturday was nice and hot. We went to the aquarium to see the dolphins and other cool aquatic life. It was pretty fun and fascinating, the highlight was the dolphin show. We also got to see the Beluga whales :)

One of the whales was really friendly and kept swimming right up to the glass.

More waiting...

Waiting seemed to go on forever! But we didn't want to lose our prime viewing spot. Sam and I took a long walk to get some ice cream for everyone and Greg snapped this all to hilarious picture of me yawning! We all got a good laugh, hope you do too :)

Waiting for fireworks on the pier

Love the smile!
This stroller became a second home to the girls, we were soo glad to have it!
Sydney loved watching the water and the seaguls :)
It was a pretty chilly evening and we were staking out our spot.
Hey handsome :)

Beautiful Chicago skyline
Hello!

Dinner and fun on the Pier

Dinner at Bee-Bops Cafe!

We totally scored some great seats and food on a super busy night.

We were all hungry and happy to be there!
Say CHEESE!
Sam was drawing us maps so we knew where to go, what a girl.
We had a long night ahead of us and this was a nice break from all the walking that we had been doing. Happy night :)

Happy 4th of July!

Navy Pier on the Carousel!

Samantha's absolute favorite thing was riding this :)
This is us on the worlds slowest Ferris Wheel, groovy!
Chicago was gorgeous. Even though the ride was slow and we only got to go around once, we got a chance to see the gorgeous open water and city scape.
