Mongolian BBQ

After the game we walked to an awesome Mongolian BBQ restaurant there in Ann Arbor. We ate outside and it was just what we all needed, cool air and food.

Don't they look thrilled?
Nice eyes crazy!

Go Utes!

A nice guy in our ward gave us tickets to go watch Michigan University vs. University of Utah football game. We are avid baseball goers so we jumped at the chance to broaden our horizons. Mostly we were looking forward to the people watching and the crazy Michigan fans! The game was great! Utes won 25-23 and there were a lot of sad Michigan fans, boo hoo. We were glad to have our red on!
Check out all that yellow! 110,000 people packed this place.
It was a smoking hot day in the stands and we were as red as our shirts.
Sam was feeling the heat in the photo, look at those cute eyes :)
Sydy was drenched with sweat, what a good sport.

Surrounded by yellow we felt a little odd. There were quite a few Utah fans there, not many in our section. The Michigan fans were funny and we heard a lot of trash talk. Lots of laughs :)

Tigers Family Night

We got the chance to go see another Tigers baseball game and we were stoked! So for family night we donned our orange and headed to Detroit. The game was great and our girls really enjoy getting out. I think that we spend more quality time with our girls at baseball games than most other activities, good times :)

Walk ins welcome, that's us!

Hi Mom!
What a hottie!
Do we love baseball, yes!
We always come well stocked with toys to keep the girls happy, that they were, happy!
Sydney is happy to play in the aisle and shout, go go go, really loud!
Nice smile Samantha.
Overall I think we were pretty happy with the night. It got cold and we were glad to have sweatshirts. On the way back to the car we passed a Mom that was needing help finding some money to get to the shelter, as we passed her I thought of the loose change we had but my arms were full so we walked on past. Not to long after we saw her Sam asked "Aren't we going to help that nice Mommy?" With that sweet question we stopped, unloaded our arms and went back to give her our change. She was so gracious and really seemed shocked that we turned around. It made us all feel better, especially Sam.

Back home in Michigan

Since we have been back to Michigan we have stayed busy, seeing new places and doing projects.
Here is one, and it is pretty cute. We got our darling girls pictures framed, now we all enjoy them. This is also a sneak peak of where I am when I'm e-mailing and blogging. Have fun and we will keep you posted :)

Caught Ya!

Saturday we went to a ward picnic, after we got home we were all upstairs with the exception of Sydney, soon I could hear little yummy sounds coming from the stairs and began wondering what the little monster was eating, this is what we found...

Caught ya, babe. She had opened the hamburger buns and was having her own picnic.
Here are the two goofiest girls I know.
The rest of the buns looked like this, completely mutilated :)

Sunbather's

Here is my cute family by the pool! Woo woo! What ya reading Greg?
What else? We have started the Twilight Series and are hooked!

Cranbrook Gardens

My favorite garden was the Oriental Gardens. I loved all the small bridges and the unique trees. Some of the trees were so old and huge they looked like the ones that come alive in the fantasy movies.

This is Maria, an awesome friend here that came with us :)
Pretty fountain, pretty girl!
This was my favorite bridge.
Here are some of the trees, I personally like the red one.

Cranbrook Gardens

We had a fun chance to go see the most beautiful place in the Detroit Metropolitan area, Cranbrook Gardens. The home there was gorgeous and there was a ton of great history, more than that there was gorgeous landscaped gardens. Over 150,000 trees were planted there by the long past tenants, wow!

This was the Enchanted Forest, the smell was great!
Here we are at Turtle Fountain, and the girls are smiling!
The view from the house, pretty.

Last day at the cabin!

What fun, last day at the cabin. The guys went fishing and the girls stayed home and played games.

Sam loved the toys that were there and was quite the pretender.

Say cheese! Syd liked the stairs and playing peek-a-boo over the banister.

Yellowstone was great!

The last time through the park, thanks a ton see ya when we see ya!

The little pole we bought Samantha was a cabin favorite, everyone enjoyed playing with it, nice focus honey :)

This is payback for the sleeping pics he got of me, sleep sweet Chaddy~

Firehole swimming

Firehole was a great spot to cool off, the boys went down the rapids and had a great time :)

Sam was hiding from the sun, what a cute puffy face!

Here is Sydney with her infamous "hippo face" the kids got a kick out of making her do it, spaz!

Farewell to family

This was great, all the kids watching a show on a lap top. I loved seeing them all together and had to catch it, hi Cambria :)

Tuesday Mom and Dad and Brett and Kirstin's family left, bummer. This was a first for our family and it was awesome.

After everyone left we (Nancy) braided Hailee's hair, she loved it and so did we. I chickened out on the braiding because Nanc was better, you go!

This is artists point, known for beautiful colored mountains and steep climbs. What a couple of troopers, there was a ton of driving this day and they were great!

Thanks Nancy for taking a picture of Greg and I, this is rare.

Ty was awesome with Sydney and she really liked hanging out with him. By the end of the trip she loved all her cousins :)

The upper falls

More pretty waterfall pictures, this is the upper falls in Yellowstone. Hello y'all!

Hello, Elk

What a stud! This was the closest I have ever been to a creature this size, nice rack! Sam still talks about him, she was a little nervous to be so close :)
